Summarise a report with GrafAI

Have GrafAI summarise the results of a sent email campaign or a combined report in three short parts: where it stands, possible reasons and a next step.

Updated 11 Oct 2026Open Campaigns in app

GrafAI summarises the report of a sent email campaign in three short parts: where it stands, possible reasons and a next step. The summary is saved, so reading it again costs nothing.

Summarise one email campaign

  1. On the Campaigns page, click the name of a sent email campaign

The report opens on the Overview tab.
  2. Click Summarise on the Summarise this report card

The card sits right under the summary sentence. It costs 3 credits.
  3. Read the three parts

Where it stands uses only the numbers in the report. Possible reasons is an interpretation and is marked Interpretation. Next step gives one action for your next email campaign.

The summary is written in the language you use MailGraf in. For the rest of the report, see Read a campaign report.

The saved summary

The summary is kept on your account. Everyone on the account sees the same one and reads it for free, and the date it was written shows at the bottom of the card. If the results change after it was written, a line above it says “Results have changed since this summary was written.” To renew it with the current numbers, click Regenerate, which also costs 3 credits. To see where credits come from, read Use GrafAI and credits.

Summarise a combined report

On the Sent tab of the Campaigns page, tick two or more email campaigns and click Report at the bottom. In Combined report, click Summarise on the Summarise the combined report card. It costs 10 credits. The summary compares the email campaigns you selected on opens and clicks. A combined summary covers up to 20 email campaigns; with more selected, no summary is written and no credit is used. If your plan does not include the combined report, the Report button does not appear.

What is sent to GrafAI

The name of the email campaign, its subject line, the send date, the report totals and the addresses of the five most clicked links are sent. Link addresses go without the part after the question mark. Contact rows, names and email addresses are never sent.

Possible reasons is an interpretation

GrafAI works only from the details listed above. It does not see your contacts or your other email campaigns. Read Possible reasons as an idea to test, not as a firm conclusion.

Frequently asked questions

Does reading the summary again use credits?

No. The summary is saved and everyone on the account reads it for free. Credits are used only when you click Summarise or Regenerate.

I cannot see the GrafAI card on the report. Why?

The card shows on the report of a sent email campaign that has recipients, while GrafAI is on for your account. If the account owner turned GrafAI off in Settings > GrafAI, the card is not shown.

Does GrafAI see my contacts' details?

No. Only the name of the email campaign, its subject line, the send date, the report totals and the addresses of the most clicked links are sent.
