Segment by automation or email campaign
Group contacts who finished an automation, or who opened, ignored or clicked a specific email campaign.
You can build a segment from a contact's status in an automation or from how they responded to a specific email. The counts for opened, clicked, bounced and unsubscribed match the unique counts in the campaign report. Contacts you have deleted do not appear in the segment.

The list starts with the most recently sent. To look across several campaigns, choose Any email campaign or a period such as Sent in the last 90 days.
Select by an automation email
Pick the Automation email field and choose the condition. Pick the automation first, then the email in that flow. Choose All emails to look at every email in the flow. Only published automations appear in this list.
Who did not open finds
did not open and did not click only look at contacts who received the email. was not sent and never entered also find contacts you added later. With a period selected, did not open finds contacts who received email campaigns in that period and opened none of them. A contact who has only received the email a moment ago also matches did not open, because they have not opened it yet.

Frequently asked questions
Do contacts who finished the automation in the past appear?
Yes. MailGraf records every entry into a flow, so the segment finds everyone who has finished it so far. You do not need to add a tag step to the flow.
Why can the segment show fewer contacts than the automation report?
The automation report counts entries and the segment counts contacts. A contact who entered the flow twice appears twice in the report and once in the segment.
What happens to the segment if I delete the automation?
The segment matches nobody and the rule row reads Deleted automation. Change that condition or remove it. Email campaigns that have been sent cannot be deleted.
