Create an image with GrafAI

GrafAI creates an image from your description, sized for the Image block, and saves it to your media library. Whether it goes into the block is up to you.

Create an image

1. Click an Image block in the editor

   The Create an image card appears on the Content tab of the left panel. The card only shows in the drag & drop editor, not in an email imported as HTML.

2. Describe your product or service

   Type at least 10 characters; a sentence or two is enough. Alongside your description, GrafAI takes the subject, the text and the colours of the email into account.

3. Choose a style

   Photo, Illustration or Flat colour. GrafAI sets the size for the block and shows it on the card: wide 3:2 in a wide column, square in a narrow one, and never more than 1,200 pixels wide.

4. Click Create image

   It costs 10 credits and usually takes 10 to 30 seconds. Progress shows inside the image area on the email, with the seconds that have passed, and you can keep editing while you wait. If you click Cancel, your credits are returned.

5. Click Use image

   The image is placed in the block. If it is not right, Try again creates a new image from the same description and costs 10 more credits.

Every image GrafAI creates stays in the GrafAI folder of your media library, even if you do not use it. One image is created at a time: while one is in progress, you cannot start another in a different block. To see where credits come from, read Use GrafAI and credits.

Alt text suggestions

An alt text suggestion comes with the image at no extra credit. It sits under the Alt text field and is only written into the field when you click Use suggestion.

For an image you uploaded yourself, click Suggest alt text in the same place. GrafAI looks at the image and suggests one sentence. It costs 1 credit.
