Website tracking matches visited pages with contact profiles in MailGraf. Set the allowed domains, then add the generated code to your website.

Start tracking

  1. Open Settings > Website tracking

If your plan does not include the feature, MailGraf shows a plan comparison card.
  2. Enter a domain to track

Under Domains to track, enter a domain such as example.com.
  3. Click Add

Add every other domain that should send visits to the same MailGraf account.
  4. Click Start tracking

MailGraf generates a tracking code for your account.

MailGraf accepts visits only from domains listed under Tracked domains.

Install the tracking code

  1. Click Copy

The code under Tracking code is copied to your clipboard.
  2. Add the code to your website

Place it immediately before the closing </head> tag on every page you want to track.
  3. Visit an allowed page

The status changes from Waiting for the first visit to Live after the first valid visit.

Last visit shows the time of the latest activity. Matched pages and forms appear in the web activity on the relevant contact profile.

Manage domains and collection

Add another domain under Tracked domains. When you remove a domain, MailGraf stops accepting new visits from it.

Turn off Record visits to pause collection. Existing data remains, but MailGraf records no new visits until you turn it on again.

Permanent removal

Remove deletes the website record, its tracking key and every visit already recorded for it. You must start the setup again if you want to restore tracking later.

Frequently asked questions

Can I track more than one domain?

Yes. Add more domains under Tracked domains and remove any that you no longer use.

Why does the status still say Waiting for the first visit?

It changes to Live after someone visits an allowed page containing the code. Check that the domain is listed and the code is inside the head element.

Do old visits remain if I remove website tracking?

No. Removing the website deletes its tracking key and all visits recorded for it.
