Manage account settings and languages
Choose the time zone and account language in Settings > Account, and see in one table what each language setting changes.
Settings > Account holds two settings that affect the whole account: time zone and account language. The account owner and admins can change this page; other users can see the settings but not change them.

Which language changes what
MailGraf has four separate language settings. Each one affects a different place.
| Setting | Where | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Interface language | My profile, in the user menu at the bottom left | Your own screen only. The verification, login code and password reset emails you receive also use it. |
| Account language | Settings > Account | The starting language of new email campaigns. Emails in ready-made automation templates and in automations built with GrafAI. Trial, payment and invitation emails MailGraf sends to the account. |
| Email language | On a campaign's Setup step, in the Sender and language card | The unsubscribe page and the Update my profile page. The ready-made link texts and the legal line in the footer. GrafAI's subject line and preview text ideas. |
| Form and page language | Form settings > Language in a form or popup. For a page, the Page language you choose when you create it | The form's built-in texts, the confirmation email and the confirmation page. Text you write yourself does not change. |
A few details:
- Changing your interface language does not change the language of your campaigns, forms or account.
- If you edited a link text in the footer yourself, your text stays even when the email language changes.
- If the email's text is in a different language from the email language you chose, you see a note on the Review & send step.
- The Sent with MailGraf badge at the bottom of emails is in English in every language.
- Invoices and invoice emails are in English.
Contacts have no language field
An email campaign goes to all recipients in the same language. To send separate emails to contacts who read Turkish and English, prepare two email campaigns and split the audience with a segment.
Frequently asked questions
If I change the account language, do my old campaigns change?
No. The account language sets the starting language of new campaigns. Existing campaigns keep their email language; change it on the campaign's Setup step if you need to.
Can I email each contact in their own language?
Contacts have no language field, and an email campaign goes to everyone in the same language. To send in two languages, prepare one email campaign per language and split the audience with a segment.
How do I change the account name?
The account name can't be changed in the app. Write to us using the contact link at the bottom of the page and the support team will change it.
