This is the shortest route from New campaign to your contacts' inboxes. Each step links to the fuller guide, so start here and go deeper only where you need to.

Before you start

The dashboard checklist needs three things done before a real send:

Build and send the campaign

  1. Open Campaigns and click New campaign

MailGraf creates a draft called Untitled campaign and opens the Setup step.
  2. Fill in the sender and subject

Enter a Campaign name, a From name, your From email on a verified domain, a Subject and a Preview text. Click Continue to audience.
  3. Choose your list

Under Send to, choose Lists, click Add list and pick your list. Estimated recipients on the right shows how many people will get the email. Click Continue to design.
  4. Design the email and send yourself a test

Choose Drag & drop editor, click Edit design and build the email. Back in the wizard, click Send a test email under Content tools, check it in your inbox, then click Continue to review.
  5. Check the Review & Send step

Wait for the green Ready to send banner. If you see Almost ready or Before you can send, fix what they list.
  6. Click Send campaign and confirm

Keep Send now under When should this send?, click Send campaign and confirm in Send this campaign?. MailGraf queues the send and returns you to Campaigns.

The full walkthrough of every field and option is in Create a campaign. To send later instead of now, see Schedule a campaign.

A test before the real send

The test email shows the design in a real inbox. The subject carries a [Test] prefix, merge tags stay empty and tests do not use your sending allowance.

After the send

In Campaigns, the status moves from Queued to Sending to Sent. On the dashboard, Create your first campaign now shows Done. Open the campaign once it is Sent to follow the delivery funnel from delivered to clicked.

Frequently asked questions

Send campaign is greyed out. Why?

The Checks list on the Review & Send step shows what is missing, and the Before you can send card shows account-level blockers such as a missing sending domain or company details.

Can I send to everyone at once?

Yes. Under Send to, choose All active contacts. Unsubscribed and blocked contacts are always skipped.

How do I know the email went out?

In Campaigns, the status moves from Queued to Sending to Sent. Open a Sent campaign to see the delivery funnel and the report.
