API and Webhooks
Connect MailGraf to your own systems
Keep contacts and lists in sync through the API, and use your own events to start automations. Signed webhooks send subscription, bounce and other updates back to your systems.
14-day free trial. No credit card required.
A separate key for every connection
Give each integration its own API key. See when it was last used and revoke it whenever you need to.
Follow every webhook delivery
See which event was sent and how your server responded. Failed deliveries can be retried.
Turn events into automations
Send an event such as a paid order through the API to start the right flow for that contact.
How it works

Features
What can you build with the API and Webhooks?
Add and update contacts
Create or update a contact with one call. Custom fields are merged, not overwritten.
Manage lists and blocked addresses
Add people to lists, take them off again, unsubscribe them or block an address from your own system.
Bring reports into your dashboard
Read campaign results and content through the API, then show them in your own dashboard.
Start flows with your own events
Send an event such as order_paid to start an automation. Repeating the same event_id does not start it twice.
Stay informed about changes
Send sign-ups, unsubscribes, bounces and other changes back to your systems through webhooks.
Test before going live
Send a test event to your endpoint and see its response before real data flows.
Handle limits and errors
Know when to retry a rate-limited request and handle errors in one consistent format.
Connect without writing code
Use Zapier or n8n to connect MailGraf to your store, CRM or forms.
Explore integrationsKnow what happened to every webhook
See the event, your server's response and each delivery attempt in one place. MailGraf retries failed deliveries, and you can retry them from the list too.
- An HMAC-SHA256 signature on every delivery
- Five attempts, then a clear failure you can retry
- An endpoint that keeps failing is switched off and your team is told
Find the source of an API issue
See which key made a request, when it happened and what came back. Use the request ID to investigate a problem, or revoke a key if needed. Records stay available for 30 days.
- Filter by key, response, method or date
- A request ID on every response
- Revoked keys stay in the list with their date
Collect confirmed sign-ups from your forms
Send a confirmation request from your own form through the API. Once the person confirms, MailGraf adds them to your list and notifies your system through a webhook.
- The confirmation link stays valid for 7 days
- The contact joins your list only after confirming
- Your CRM hears about it straight away
“MailGraf just works. Five years in and we haven't experienced a single outage. When we need help, someone actually picks up. No ticket queues, no canned replies. For a mid-size team, that reliability is everything.”
